this work day was interesting.. definitely broke the monotony of the shifts i've been having. we got to run a 911 call for a patient with a dislocated knee! poor guy.

a left over slice of birthday cake and the flowers my mom bought for me. she's so sweet- it makes me want to do tons of stuff for her on mother's day. on occasions like those i wish i was rich.

sigh.

another birthday celebration over.. but thank goodness there's some kind of celebration a month! looking forward to mother's day and kuya rod's wedding!

[strawberry mousse cake]

imported from San Diego, CA! i haven't found a good bakery in LA yet, so our last two bday cakes have been from Hans and Harry's in Bonita, CA. this one was a strawberry mousse filling with white cake and white chocolate shavings on top.
